Employee Assistance Program Committee

Role

The EAP is a voluntary, confidential counselling and information service available in English or French to Concordia employees and their immediate family members. EAP counsellors provide assistance with any personal and work-related concerns that may be affecting one’s physical and emotional well-being. These include concerns such as marital and relationship issues, family problems, personal and emotional difficulties, interpersonal conflicts, substance abuse, work-related concerns and more. The service is confidential and free of charge.

The EAP Committee is composed of a representative from each of Concordia’s unions and associations, as well as representatives from the Concordia administration. CUCEPTFU’s delegate is elected for a two-year term by the General Assembly.

The Committee meets two or three times per year to address EAP-related issues. For complete information about the Employee Assistance Program, please visit the EAP website at http://eap.concordia.ca.
